We are currently seeking an Associate with 2-5 years of relevant industry experience to join our Debt Placement team in our San Francisco office. The Associate will develop expertise in their discipline, participate in business transactions including client and investor communication, supervise Analysts and the underwriting process, create and execute marketing collateral, and receive ongoing hands-on training. Responsibilities
Start-to-finish transaction execution, collaboration with lenders and clients, and oversight of the financial underwriting Work closely with senior team members and mentor/train Analysts Financial underwriting, due diligence review and transaction execution Perform comprehensive company, real estate, and market analyses Prepare presentations and other materials for clients Create pitches, proposals, and marketing materials Build relationships with clients and lenders to generate new business Education and Qualifications
2-5 years of commercial real estate experience Bachelor's degree required; preference for business, real estate, finance and/or accounting Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
Proficient in financial modeling in Excel and presentations in PowerPoint Strong communication, analytical and writing skills Strong ARGUS, financial analysis and Excel modeling skills Ability to produce high-quality work under tight timeframes Licensed real estate salesperson in California for non-administrative exempt staff (Analyst and above) Commitment to building a career in financial services with a focus on real estate finance Experience in commercial real estate with a focus on capital markets Ability to develop and maintain client relationships Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, collaborative, team environment Other Duties
