Technical Product Manager, AWS

This role sits on the AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) Sales Planning Tools team, which provides services, technology, and data to support the growing AWS Sales organization. The team manages a portfolio of complex, high-impact, and intelligent planning tools with a multi-year roadmap. These are global, enterprise-grade web applications that are early to mid-stage in their lifecycle and include both 1P and 3P products. You will be responsible for onboarding the AWS Partner Organization to AWS Sales Planning, owning Partner Sales Hierarchy and Territory Planning, and delivering a global, enterprise-grade web-based sales planning application for Partner Planning. You will define the product strategy and roadmap, including automation and intelligent recommendations to drive efficiency and scale for AWS Sales. Responsibilities
Develop product strategy and product definition. Define and manage a two-year product roadmap, including introduction of AI/ML to transform AWS planning. Capture, document, and communicate business and technical product requirements. Translate requirements into features and user stories and drive technical team understanding of requirements. Manage technical build against business requirements; provide leadship with engineering on implementation. Collaborate with stakeholders from Global AWS Sales, Sales Operations, and other teams across WWRO. Lead document development for leadership reviews and own project status updates to customers and leadership. Plan and conduct user testing; drive change management and adoption across AWS Sales and Sales Operations. Manage post-launch activities (user support, new feature development, etc.). Establish KPIs, identify gaps, and improve performance and adoption of the platform. Deep dive problems or opportunities and propose solutions; generate ideas to drive improvement, efficiency, and automation across AWS Sales. A day in the life
Design new products and capabilities that enable business users to operate more effectively, intelligently, and efficiently. Engage with systems at the forefront of technology to deliver software for large, distributed sales teams. Work with engineering and other product/program managers to define, build, drive, and measure systems to enable field sales teams. Communicate effectively and use data to drive business decisions at scale. About the Team

Bachelor's degree Experience with feature prioritization and product roadmap tradeoffs Experience in customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing products and services 3+ years of experience in product or technical product management Experience working across functional boundaries Preferred Qualifications
