Principal – Edifecs Specialist-Healthcare, Business Consulting Base pay range: $168,000.00/yr - $234,000.00/yr

Infosys Consulting is seeking a skilled Principal with a strong focus on Edifecs implementations and experience in encounters, claims, and enrollment processes. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in healthcare business consulting and Edifecs solution implementations in healthcare clients.

About The Role We are launching our Edifecs offering and building an implementation practice, seeking leaders who bring insights and best practices to help organizations implement Edifecs and integrate the solution into their environments. Our Healthcare Consulting practice helps clients apply cutting edge technology to payer and provider market sectors. You will lead and support our practice leaders on developing an Edifecs solution implementation playbook and service offering.

Responsibilities

Consulting engagements delivery: Principal leads work tracks and small teams within larger programs, supports offerings development, staff development, and the overall success of the Healthcare practice.

Bring healthcare domain knowledge in one or more functional areas: end-to-end claims and encounters processes, and enrollment and eligibility processes.

Support leaders in proposal development and pursuits.

Identify use cases, provide level of effort estimations and assumptions for Edifecs SaaS implementation and integrations.

Lead small project teams, mentor, coach and develop consultants and analysts.

Contribute to practice development by identifying industry trends and enhancing consulting offerings and solutions.

Edifecs solution implementations: Lead or participate in Edifecs implementations, develop implementation roadmaps, and ensure stakeholder readiness.

Ensure end-user adoption through training, communications, metrics, and change management strategies.

Remain current with industry trends in Encounters, Claims, and Enrollment; drive transformation programs enabled by intelligent automation and AI capabilities (RPA, ML, GenAI, Agentic AI).

Develop the Healthcare Consulting Edifecs Center of Excellence (CoE) and an implementation playbook with practice leaders.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a customer-facing role in a large consulting firm or industry.

At least 7 years of experience leading teams delivering Edifecs implementation services and the technology life cycle (operating model/strategy, discovery, requirements, solution design, development, testing, production release).

At least 7 years of healthcare domain experience with strong understanding of the healthcare value chain.

Knowledge in end-to-end claims, encounters, enrollment, and eligibility processes.

At least three years of experience with Edifecs implementations using Agile methodologies.

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and collaboration skills.

Strong problem-solving, process mapping, and stakeholder communication abilities.

Experience leading or supervising a team of professionals.

Willingness to travel up to 80% (weekly travel) depending on client requirements.

Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or advanced degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, business, IT, analytics, etc.

Strong client-facing skills including senior leadership presentations and advisory capabilities.

Experience coordinating and delivering Edifecs implementation programs.

Understanding of claims, encounters, and enrollment issues in the healthcare payer sector.

Strong planning, coordination, analytical and communication skills.

Familiarity with financial, performance, and quality measures in healthcare.

Ability to guide stakeholders in understanding business value and to interface with customers with minimal supervision.

Track record of completing projects and delivering on commitments; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Experience with Agile, Scrum methodologies.
