Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting Oracle ERP (Fusion) and broader finance transformation initiatives across the Corporate Finance Systems landscape. This role will focus on functional design, system configuration, and business process improvements—particularly related to Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign, Fixed Assets implementation, and Procure-to-Pay processes. The analyst will work closely with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements, configure ERP modules, support testing, and ensure solutions align with business objectives. In addition to owning key Oracle EBS and Fusion configurations, this role will contribute to other workstreams within the finance transformation program, supporting modernization efforts across systems, integrations, and reporting. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financials, strong analytical skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and system capabilities. Responsibilities

Business Insights and Analysis:

Conduct deep-dive analyses into complex financial data to uncover trends and provide actionable insights. Functional analysis and configurations:

Lead functional analysis and configuration of Oracle EBS modules, including General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Payables (AP), and Procurement. Documentation and design:

Provide input into functional design documents, perform setups, and ensure accuracy of system behavior based on business requirements. Tool Proficiency

Utilize tools across

Oracle EBS, Fusion and Oracle Cloud

(e.g., Web ADI, BI Publisher, OTBI, Oracle Data Hub) to support reporting, reconciliations, and functional analysis across financial modules including GL, Fixed Assets, and Procure-to-Pay. Collaborate with integration and data teams to support finance transformation initiatives by enabling accurate data mapping, validation, and reporting across multiple ERP workstreams including COA redesign, Fixed Assets, and Procure-to-Pay. Collaboration with Stakeholders

Participate in key workstreams related to finance transformation, including process redesign, data mapping, and user adoption efforts. Collaborate with data and integration teams to ensure smooth flow of financial data across systems. Assist in planning for future-state architecture and systems co-existence strategies (e.g., during phased modernization). Simplify the communication bridge between finance stakeholders and technical teams to support effective implementation and ongoing enhancements. Collaborate with developers to ensure system configurations, customizations, and enhancements align with finance transformation goals and technical roadmaps. Serve as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into functional designs and ensure successful implementation and adoption. Project Management and Methodology

Utilize Agile methodologies to manage multiple analytics projects, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and timely delivery of outcomes. Presentation and Reporting

Prepare and present reports to senior management detailing findings, with clear visualizations and strategic recommendations to guide business decisions. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. 4+ years of hands-on experience as a functional analyst supporting Oracle EBS/ Oracle Cloud – Financials and P2P modules, including system configurations, setups, and functional testing. Oracle E-Business Suite Financials or Cloud (Fusion) certification (e.g., Oracle Financials Cloud: General Ledger or Payables Implementation Specialist). Strong functional knowledge of

Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)

and

Oracle Cloud ERP , particularly in Financials and Procure-to-Pay modules. Experience with

functional configurations , customizations, and supporting transformation workstreams such as

Chart of Accounts redesign

and

Fixed Assets implementation . Familiarity with

Oracle Cloud tools

including

OTBI ,

BI Publisher ,

Oracle Analytics , and

Oracle Data Hub

for data mapping and reporting. Ability to support

finance transformation efforts

with a focus on scalability, long-term process design, and adoption of modern ERP capabilities. Preferred Skills

Master’s Degree Certification or formal training in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tools and reporting platforms (e.g., OTBI, Oracle Analytics). Experience with ERP data migration or chart of accounts redesign initiatives.
