About the Project
The D365 CRM Lead will join an established commercial real estate firm and take ownership of a highly customized MS D365 CRM platform used across US markets. The Lead must be a strong Techno / Functional leader focusing on platform stability, adoption, training, and light enhancements rather than new development. This is a high-impact role with direct engagement with business and technology leadership.
D365 CRM Environment : The CRM is heavily customized with non-standard code and entities. Out-of-the-box D365 knowledge alone is insufficient. The CRM is used more as a contact Rolodex than a full sales funnel; sales pipeline features are minimal. Integrations with external systems (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn) and internal systems (commission tracking, etc.) exist but are not mission-critical for this role.
D365 CRM Platform Adoption : Usage is optional for brokers; no top-down enforcement. The Lead must have strong communication, negotiation, and user-engagement skills to drive adoption among a non-technical, sales-focused population.
Team / Technical Leadership : Lead guides a blended team (1 onshore / 3 offshore), owning offshore task prioritization, solution design approvals, assignments, and delivery oversight. This role does not include traditional people management (reviews/succession); may replace underperforming offshore members if necessary.
Hands-on Development : Hands-on development is not the primary focus, but the Lead must stay technically involved to triage issues, contribute to architectural direction, and avoid over-reliance on offshore developers.
Power Platform : Strong familiarity with Power Platform (PowerApps/Power Automate/PowerBI) with ability to explain technical processes to non-technical stakeholders and to sketch high-level architectures.
Documentation : Documentation is limited; some knowledge transfer exists via audio recordings. The Offshore Team can provide continuity and live knowledge transfer in areas lacking formal docs.
Job Requirements
