Are you a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care? The U.S. Department of Defense seeks a dedicated physician to join the Family Medicine Department at Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor (NHCOH). In this role, you will serve as a key medical provider within a multidisciplinary team, managing a wide range of acute, chronic, and preventive health needs for military service members, their families, and beneficiaries. As a Physician in this setting, you will formulate and lead comprehensive treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practice, diagnose and treat diseases, respond in emergencies, and coordinate care across internal and community resources. You’ll also provide advisory support, participate in committees and clinical oversight, and help shape health education efforts promoting wellness and self-care. We are seeking a candidate with strong clinical training: an M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution (or equivalent for foreign graduates), a full, unrestricted state license, and at least four years of residency training in family medicine (or equivalent experience). You’ll also need to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, comply with federal security, background, and medical readiness requirements, and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. Occasional travel may be required; relocation assistance is not authorized. This is a full-time, permanent federal position (GP-14) based in Oak Harbor, Washington, with a salary range of $145,000 to $320,000, commensurate with experience and market adjustments.
