Overview Mercy is recruiting an additional OB/Hospitalist to meet growing demand at Mercy Hospital - Fort Smith, Arkansas. Our hospital covers an extensive patient population of nearly 500,000 lives and is the regional leader for obstetrics and infant care.

Responsibilities

High Birth Volume : Handle 220-270 births per month, with laborists managing 30-50 cases and CNMs delivering about 10% of those.

Focused Shift Work : 24-hour shifts dedicated solely to L&D and the OB Emergency Department (OB ED), with no responsibilities for the general floor, GYN, or main ED.

State-of-the-Art Facilities : Work in two dedicated ORs on L&D, with access to main OR rooms if needed.

24/7 Support : In-house anesthesia and neonatology, with MFM available virtually around the clock.

Collaborative Staffing : Join a team of 10 local OBGYNs (9 integrated/employed), with an expected net increase of one OBGYN in the fall.
