We are looking for a Pharmacist to help customers find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to stay healthy.

Location: Houston, TX. Applicants must have an active Pharmacist license in TX.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and manage the full prescription fulfillment workflow from initiation to completion, including filling, verifying, and packing orders for shipment.
• Perform pharmacist verifications and ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures and applicable Federal/State laws and regulations.
• Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses and collaborate with other staff pharmacists to complete thorough quality checks prior to shift end.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction and support production relative to new business lines with thorough quality assurance checks.
• Complete ancillary housekeeping pharmacy tasks (checking returns, inputting medication rejects, overseeing substitutions, canister approvals).
• Answer clinical questions and provide clinical guidance; investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting.
• Collate and deliver pertinent pharmacy information to the distribution team and ensure compliance with all company procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state of employment (TX) and others upon request; additional licenses may be required if domicile state differs
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulatory requirements; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform basic computer functions
• Warehouse work ability, including lifting up to 20 lbs

• Experience in LTC or Retail settings
• Excellent communication skills

Work schedule: Days/Swing/Nights. Job location: Houston, TX.

Compensation and Benefits

compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Base pay ranges from $93,400/year to $161,000/year depending on location and experience.
