Overview
Warehouse associate role at Wallwork Truck Centers. This position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Pay range $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr. The role involves verifying and stocking incoming parts and shipments and preparing parts for delivery, as well as delivering parts to various business locations in the area.
Responsibilities
- Verify and stock incoming parts and shipments into the warehouse.
- Prepare parts for delivery and deliver parts to the various business locations in the area.
- Load and unload part orders.
- Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming parts.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment where applicable.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
- Perform Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
- Uphold Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate behavioral and service expectations as defined in policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Must possess general math skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player in the department
Supervision Of Others/Decision Making Aptitude (if Applicable)
- No supervisory responsibilities required with this position.
Essential Functions And Accountabilities
- Local delivery of parts.
- Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Safely and properly prepare parts for deliveries.
- Keep company vehicle clean and maintained.
- Complete vehicle safety checks per company policy and operate the vehicle within safety guidelines; report any safety concerns or policy violations to management.
- Verify inventory with paperwork.
- Load and unload part orders.
- Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming parts.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment where applicable.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending meetings and educational activities as appropriate.
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.
- Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
- Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
- Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
