Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $21.75/hr

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist III – Float at Columbia, MD! This is a 5 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Location: Columbia, MD 21044

Shift Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: Hours vary between 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Rotational Saturdays: Hours vary between 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Hours per Week: 30 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $19 - 21.75/hour + Mileage Reimbursement (Based on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely specimen collection and processing across multiple assigned sites.
• Provide leadership and act as a resource advisor, mentor, and coach to new or existing team members.
• Step in for other Phlebotomist III Float roles as needed to ensure smooth site operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment at all times.
• Demonstrate outstanding phlebotomy skills across all patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Handle high-volume and high-complexity accounts with professionalism and precision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Billing, IT, Laboratory Testing, and Logistics.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Exhibit superior communication skills, both verbal and written, in patient and team interactions.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
