Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician. Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician. Status: Full-time. Schedule: Overnight. Salary: Negotiable and based on experience.

Requirements: Two years of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant. Overnight Veterinary technicians work with a limited team and must be able to perform ICU, emergency, and reception duties.

Responsibilities

• Work the overnight shift with a limited team and perform ICU, emergency, and reception duties.
• Support the veterinary team in ICU and emergency patient care.
• Manage veterinary assistants and perform VA duties as needed.
• Documentation of patient records and client interactions; effective communication with clients and staff.
• Diagnostics and in-house lab work as part of patient care.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring (Qualifications)

• Two years of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring; competency in emergency, critical, and perioperative care.
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint; ability to triage genuine emergency cases.

• Ability to identify emergencies and provide appropriate care.
