Overnight Retail Cashier Job at Jacksons Food Stores in Fallon

Overview

As an Overnight Cashier, you’ll be a vital part of our customer service team, ensuring efficient and friendly transactions during the late-night hours.

Pay and Schedule

Pay: Starting at $16.25 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential. Overnight shift differential eligibility requires a minimum of 4 hours between 10:00pm and 7:00am.

Shift: Part-time, 10:00pm – 7:00am. Must be 21+ for this role.

What you will do on the Graveyard Shift

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back
• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Accurately ring up sales and merchandise, applying discounts/promotions while following all company policies and applicable laws regarding restricted sales
• Must be of legal age to sell and stock regulated products
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
• Properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays
• Additional duties as assigned

• Must be legal age to sell regulated products including tobacco and alcohol. NV-only: legal age to work around slot machines

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk and listen
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 65 pounds
• Work in conditions with heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes from gasoline and cleaning chemicals
