Position

Administrative Assistant - Counce, TN

Description

To provide clerical/scheduling support to all departments while filling in for each departmental administrative assistant while they are on vacation, sick leave, etc. The incumbent would be trained in each of 5 departments and would be assigned to other areas when not needed to fill-in.

Principle Accountabilities

1. Preparing work schedules for the production departments
2. Become familiar with and support the Labor Agreement language in regard to scheduling.
3. Other projects as required.
4. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to deal with changing priorities and work schedules while maintaining a professional attitude.
5. Cross-train in other clerical jobs in order to fill-in for vacations.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in clerical/secretarial function preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office.
