Overview

Heavy Equipment Operator role at D.H. Griffin Companies in Richmond, VA. The Richmond office is accepting applications for Heavy Equipment Operators to work on demolition projects in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment typically 200 series excavators and above, fitted with hydraulic shears, grapples, bucket/thumb, universal processors, etc., to demolish structures, sort material, and load out debris.
• Work independently or as part of a team; follow directions of a site supervisor.

Qualifications

• Demolition experience is required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel; hotel and per diem provided for out-of-town work.
• Must pass background check and drug screening; medically capable of wearing a half-faced respirator.
