I. Job Summary

Operate IAWTS, perform Control Room Operators' duties and Sampler/Unloader duties when assigned.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Operate disposal and auxiliary facilities in a specified sequence and in accordance with specified procedures. Log monitoring data and notify the Shift Supervisor and Control Room Operator of any significant changes in well data.
  2. Perform RCRA inspections in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
  3. Operate and monitor the steam boiler and the Integrated Aqueous Waste Treatment System (IAWTS) in accordance with procedures.
  4. Operate and control caustic scrubber system as outlined in the procedure.
  5. Monitor and change out filter in cartridge filter housings.
  6. Perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor, including Control Room Operator and Sampler/Unloader duties when assigned.
  7. Participate in emergency response rescue team, including Contingency Plan event, confined space entry rescue, CPR and first aid site provider.
  8. Safety and Environmental Responsibilities: maintain a safe work environment, follow site safety policies, participate in safety meetings including incident investigations, and promote safety policies.

  2. Education: None required.
  3. Experience: 2 years relevant work experience.
  4. B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
  5. None required
  6. C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
