Unit Secretary – Postpartum - Nights

Location: Evanston, IL

Hours: Night shift 2300-0730, with weekend rotation. Full Time 32 hours.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate non-clinical duties of the nursing unit
• Enter patient charges in computer
• Coordinate patient flow of admissions and discharges
• Order supplies
• Provide customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other support departments
• Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate
• Proactively identify need for service recovery and follow up on resolution

What You Will Need

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience required or 1 year of college and 1 year of work experience required
• Skills: Proficiency with computer skills required
