Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one online tutoring for High School Level American Literature.
- Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
- Deliver clear explanations and engage students with a friendly teaching style.
- Utilize the platform\'s tools to enhance sessions and save prep time.
- Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage your own schedule; platform handles payments.
What We Look For In a Tutor
- Strong communication skills and engaging teaching style.
- Expertise in High School Level American Literature and ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience and/or graduate-level education.
Compensation and How You’ll Get Paid
- Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with additional sessions with the same student.
- Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
- Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
- Remote tutoring on the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
