Overview
Client Services Coordinator – Rehabilitation Services at Mercy Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Of New England. This is a full-time, day-shift position located in Chicopee, MA. The role provides reception, clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
What Will You Do
- Maintain client records, client registration, insurance authorizations, and statistical data.
- Manage the phone system, intake, scheduling, referrals, insurance authorizations, registration, and co-pay collection.
- Support the therapy department and manage patients within the department from intake to discharge.
- Assist internal and external customers with clerical tasks within the office.
- Support all personnel in the rehabilitation department with clerical functions as identified.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred.
- Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
- Proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment; accuracy and dependability required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
