The Assistant Production Supervisor will direct and motivate the production team members, and assist in maintaining uniform production of safe, quality products at the lowest cost. This position will be required to work Saturdays and as a vacation fill in as needed. In the absence of the Production Supervisor, this incumbent must be able to run the production line and ensure that an adequate number of trained team members are on the line to produce hamburgers, while also making sure team members follow company GMPs, SQF, HACCP and all food safety regulations. What We Are Looking For

• This position must be flexible to change schedule and hours of work to meet the needs of the plant and be available to work on Saturdays as a vacation fill in where needed
• Associate College Degree preferred, High School diploma or GED required
• Prior experience working on a manufacturing food production line
• Prior Supervisory experience dealing with team member concerns while maintaining professionalism and working as a team
• Knowledge of how all production equipment operates (including the ERP system) and ability to function efficiently at any of the line positions
• Directing and motivating team members and ensuring everyone follows our Values and Behaviors
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Calmness under pressure and handling the stress associated with issues/problems
• May be required to work some Saturdays and/or Sundays based on the needs of the plant
• Standing for long periods of time, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 70 pounds

What You Will Do

• Continual monitoring of floor including equipment, product, and team members to ensure production runs smoothly; assist by working the line during breaks and lunches
• Oversee the setup and shutdown of production equipment and raw materials at the beginning and end of the shift, following established procedures
• Schedule and oversee the training of new team members; both WCD and temporaries
• Supervise team members to ensure they follow all policies, procedures, SOPs, and GMPs, while complying with safety guidelines. Assume responsibilities of Production Supervisor in their absence
• Check all finished products for proper pallet usage, correct quantity per code date, proper slot placement, and correct pallet sheets
