Merlin Entertainments is hiring: Custodian in North Richland Hills

Overview

As a part-time Team Merlin Custodian at Merlin Entertainments, you will help to create memorable experiences in our attraction for guests. You will support the day-to-day operations of Peppa Pig Theme Park, including daily upkeep of public and behind-the-scenes areas, health and safety, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Empties, cleans, and lines waste receptacles and disposes of trash.
• Washes doors, windows, walls, baseboards, and light fixtures.
• Safely cleans and mops spills.
• Cleans drinking fountains.
• Cleans and disinfects restrooms including floors, walls, fixtures, and mirrors.
• Restocks restroom supplies as necessary.
• Reports on the need for maintenance and repair.
• Observes safe working practices, including maintaining storage areas in a safe condition.
• Corrects or reports any safety or fire hazards.
• Safely operates a variety of custodian tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Performs related duties as required or assigned – e.g., open and close of facility systems, technical team assistance as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• 6 months – 1 year experience working in attractions or entertainment environment preferred.
• Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality.
• Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills.
• Able to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Pay

Base pay range: $14.00/hr - $14.00/hr
