Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Location: Albion, IN (Bosch, Robert Bosch LLC)

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs hydraulic injection molding machines and ancillary equipment. Uses blueprints, manuals, and verbal instructions to troubleshoot difficulties and take corrective actions.
• Performs preventive maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or performing other predictive maintenance actions.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them, consulting blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
• Repairs machines, equipment, or building systems using precision measuring instruments and electrical/electronic testing devices.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, transformers, wiring, and electrical/electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Repairs machines, equipment or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. Supports die maintenance and troubleshooting of roll forming equipment. Installs, programs, and repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
• Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Performs housekeeping, 5-S, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Four years related experience and/or training; experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, etc. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Outlook is a plus.
