Position

Sr. Service Representative/Courier to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients. A company vehicle is provided for the route, with an optional personal use vehicle for a monthly fee of $100.

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday, hours vary; one or two weekends (Saturday or Sunday) are required.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as a floater for the logistics team providing coverage for various routes
• Provide on-route training for new couriers/drivers
• Assist with dispatch and pickups when needed
• Load necessary supplies for daily pickups
• Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver daily picks to your branch at end of shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey traffic laws
• Use handheld device to manage daily pickups
• Coordinate with dispatcher for additional pickups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of driver/courier experience required
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Strong punctuality and time management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to solve problems and handle customer issues
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
