Mustang Cat is hiring an experienced Heavy Truck Driver to support our Bryan branch – transporting light and heavy construction equipment to customer job sites and Mustang locations throughout the Brazos Valley and Central Texas region.

This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role for a safety-minded Class A CDL driver with experience hauling rental or construction equipment. If you enjoy being on the road, working independently, and representing a trusted brand, this is the career move for you.

What You’ll Do

As a Heavy Equipment Haul Truck Driver, you’ll ensure safe, on-time delivery of Mustang Cat’s rental fleet. You’ll be a key part of our customer service promise—helping projects across College Station, Brenham, Navasota, Hearne, and beyond stay on schedule and productive.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload light and heavy construction equipment
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain daily logs, trip documentation, and DOT inspection records
  • Keep assigned truck clean and professional, inside and out
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers and Mustang team members
  • Follow all Mustang Cat and DOT safety procedures

Driver Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • Clean driving record (MVR, PSP, FMCSA Clearinghouse)
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • Experience hauling construction or heavy equipment preferred
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
  • Familiarity with electronic logbooks and DOT log procedures
  • Ability to load, chain, and secure equipment independently
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Equipment Experience (Preferred)

  • Flatbed Truck & Bumper Pull Trailer
  • Rollback or Dovetail Truck
  • 7-Axle or 8-Axle RGN Truck & Trailer
