Manufacturing company seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full financial close cycle with minimal supervision and supporting various accounting functions across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other related field of study
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with month-end duties including journal entries, reconciliations, and working with financial statements
- ERP software experience
- Advanced experience with Excel functions (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare required journal entries
- Coordinate input and analysis of financial reports from subsidiaries
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Calculate internal sales commissions
- Prepare detailed revenue reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for various states
- Gather data and prepare schedules to support income tax compliance
- Assist with annual outside financial statement review including footnote disclosures
- Assist in annual budgeting process including preparation of departmental expense budgets
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $100,000.00/yr.
