Security Guard - 3rd Shift (6pm - 6am) (Security)

Choice Labs, LLC is a rapidly growing medical and recreational cannabis processing center specializing in top-quality cannabis extracts with a solid focus on manufacturing a broad range of high-quality products within our brand and across multiple brand lines. Because of this growth, we are searching for new talent to be part of our hard-working and highly motivated team. The Security position will provide basic campus security for their assigned shift as well as assigned duties and responsibilities that will vary depending on the needs of the company.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access at the gate.
• Check employee identification and check-in all visitors, transporters, samplers and service providers.
• Perform light ground maintenance functions, such as but not limited to raking, blowing leaves, shoveling snow, spreading salt or ice melt, and other related ground tasks as assigned during down time.
• Walk the exterior of the site at regular and random intervals to ensure that entrances, doors, windows, and any other means of entrance are locked and secure.
• Document security, safety, and maintenance issues.
• Facilitate First Responders, Police/Fire/Medical, with emergency situations that may occur on site.
• Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and regulatory compliant campus at all times.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Must be 21 or over (required by law)
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Demonstrated Team-Work skills; ability to cooperate and collaborate to achieve shared goals and objectives.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate professionally and effectively to everyone you encounter.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED.
