Overview
We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support HR operations, recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and compliance tasks. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to confidentiality, and the ability to work across multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Post job openings and review applications.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist with background and reference checks.
- Manage the onboarding process and create/maintain employee files.
- Maintain accurate employee records (physical and digital).
- Ensure compliance with all legal and organizational requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and employment.
- Process paperwork for leaves of absence, terminations, and other HR actions.
- Assist in administering benefits plans and support payroll processing.
- Coordinate orientations, training sessions, and seminars; support performance review processes.
- Stay current on employment laws and regulations; prepare and submit required HR reports.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and serve as a point of contact for questions and concerns.

- Time management and organization; ability to manage multiple HR tasks.
- HRIS proficiency; familiarity with MS Office, Zoom, and payroll software.
- Recruitment and onboarding experience; interviewing, background checks, and orientation.
- Payroll and benefits administration; knowledge of compliance requirements.
- Policy knowledge; understanding of local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Associate’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience may be considered.
Certification Desired
- SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional)
- PHR (Professional in Human Resources)
- HR Certification Institute (HRCI) credentials
Experience Requirements
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience.
