Objective of the Position: This position is responsible for a wide range of human resource related functions including, but not limited to, recruiting, HRIS administration, new hire orientation, state, federal and local compliance, training, organizational development and administering special events or functions.
Essential Accountabilities
- Manage E-Time and follow-up with Sup’s to ensure exceptions are corrected daily. Duties include: issuing points (ensuring accuracy and receipt of signed discipline), managing benefit balances, creating/revising schedule patterns and shifts, assisting supervisors, running reports, training supervisors on the system and writing work instructions.
- Processing all new hires using HR “New Employee Checklist”.
- Responsible for onboarding of new employees and temps, including conducting trainings as listed in “New employee Checklist”.
- Processing all terminated employees using HR “Termination checklist”.
- Processing Perfect Attendance list each quarter and submitting to payroll for payment.
- Prepare monthly report for HR Manager with length of service increases to be entered in HRIS.
- Supports recruiting efforts as needed to include writing and posting advertisements, screening candidates, scheduling and participating in interviews, conducting testing and background checks and extending offers.
- Reset user passwords in ADP.
- Assisting employees with ADP Self Service Portal and Arrow Uniforms site.
- Issuing/Revising Badge Access.
- Assist with management of temporary employees to include: enrolling/termining in E-Time, issuing badges and processing of monthly invoices.
- Maintain both employee hard copy files and electronic HRIS files to ensure accurate data for each employee.
- Payroll processing - prepare safety shoe/glasses reimbursement form. Investigate all payroll related issues and report findings to HR Manager.
- SAP – creating purchase requisition and processing invoices.
- Assisting with employee issues/concerns and report back to HR Manager.
- Updating monthly charts.
- Assists in monitoring audits and investigating HR related matters and regulations accordingly including, but not limited to safety, sexual harassment, discrimination, ADA, FMLA, Wage and Hour, EEOC, DOL and provides recommendations.
- Prepare job descriptions and providing them to HR Manager for review and approval.
- Assist HR Manager with Monthly Communication meetings.
- Assist HR Manager with leaves of absence including tracking FMLA time and processing disability forms and notifying carrier of return to work dates.
- May participate in Safety Committee as a company representative, follow up on safety issues and participate in safety work.
Secondary Accountabilities
- Conduct all business related activities for, and on behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
- Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
- Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
- Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirement Profile
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or closely related field
- Minimum one year of experience in Human Resources.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality
Technical Expertise
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
- Analytical - Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures.
