$36.47/hr - $51.96/hr Description

The Radiologic Technologist performs quality diagnostic radiological exams on customers as ordered by Providers. Customers may be infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The Technologist may also perform other radiological procedures within scope of licensure, for example, EKGs and Dexa bone scans. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs accurate imaging exams as ordered by Physician/Provider and presents them for review. Administers EKGs and presents results to Physician/Provider for review. Applies critical thinking skills appropriately, recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately. Maintains daily records and keeps the department neat and orderly. Maintains accurate customer medical records, ensuring confidentiality of all medical records. Utilizes imaging and EMR computer systems correctly. Performs daily check of systems and appropriate documentation. Performs daily/weekly/monthly quality control testing as appropriate. Interacts with Providers, co-workers, customers, and families in a professional manner. Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals. The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list and maintain skill proficiency, including upgrading any additional or new skills as needed. Recognizes and complies with legal, regulatory, accrediting, and procedural requirements related to area of responsibility. Understands and follows principles and standards as outlined in North Memorial's Corporate Code of Conduct. Protects customer and team member privacy and only accesses customer and/or team member related information as needed to perform job duties. Reports violations or areas of concern to supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer via established methods of communication. Benefits

Basic Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent - Required Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology - Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1-5 years experience in Radiologic Technology - Required Fluoroscopy experience - Required Surgical experience - Required Licensure and Certification

ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist - Required BLS Certification - Required
