EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the well-established and dynamic Emergency Department team.
Wage Range: $45.92 - $82.96 per hour
Bonus of $10,000 for those new to EvergreenHealth with 2 or more years current Emergency Registered Nursing experience. Pro-rated by FTE.
Relocation assistance available.
Additional pay for BSN / MSN / CEN.
Note: The posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with multiple levels, the range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications, or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's relevant experience, education level, and internal equity.
Job Summary: Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital, and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Primary Duties:
Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
Coordinates patient and family/significant other education.
Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.
Collaborates with physician partners and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
Communicates relevant information effectively to supervisors, in a timely manner.
Documents changes in patient condition promptly to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education, or Experience: Required:
Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN required).
Minimum of two years current RN Emergency Room nursing experience.
Current WA State RN License.
Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certifications by start date.
Desired:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
CEN certification preferred.
