Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers to accommodate imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities and assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program. Supervises Radiology staff in the absence; maintains department supplies; promotes teamwork and customer service. Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline as needed. Performs scheduling for assigned sub-departments and maintains supplies and equipment. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State. Effective July 1, 2017 national certification in three modalities or, if functioning in a leadership role, national certification in 2 modalities and leadership experience required. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations. Current BCLS required upon hire and maintain current. One year of acute clinical radiography preferred. Proficient computer skills. Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation; the current compensation range for this role is $52.30 to $52.30. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire based on factors including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure. Employment Status
