A law firm in Providence, RI is seeking a skilled Nursing Home/Assisted Living Facility Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in handling legal matters related to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Duties include: Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding nursing home and assisted living facility matters. Represent clients in legal disputes involving nursing homes and assisted living facilities, including wrongful death, neglect, and abuse claims. Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements. Negotiate settlements and lead mediations to resolve disputes effectively. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to elder care and facility management. Develop and implement legal strategies tailored to individual client needs. Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress, address concerns, and ensure their understanding of legal processes. Work closely with other legal professionals, including paralegals and support staff, to manage case workload and achieve favorable outcomes. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Bar in Rhode Island. Proven experience in handling legal matters related to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Strong understanding of elder care law, facility regulations, and relevant legal precedents. Experience in representing clients in disputes involving nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Ability to draft and review legal documents with precision and attention to detail. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Skills: Expertise in nursing home and assisted living facility law. Proven ability to handle complex legal disputes and achieve favorable outcomes. Strong research and analytical skills. Proficiency in drafting legal documents and managing case files.
