Phlebotomist II Float - Santa Cruz, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–5:00 PM (Rotational Weekends) In a Phlebotomy float role, you will work in a diverse, dynamic environment where no two days look the same. You will shift frequently to new patient centers and meet new people, supported by a robust total rewards package to learn, grow and advance in a Phlebotomy career. Responsibilities

Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomist duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings and insurance exams Enter billing information and collect payment when required Coach, mentor, instruct, and act as a resource advisor for new employees; serve as on-site staff point of contact and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington Three years of phlebotomy experience required (includes pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections) Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred Keyboard/data entry experience Must be able to communicate effectively in English Pay and Benefits

Pay range:

$25.30–$30.15

per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications obtained; market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation.
