– Locum position in Washington state with a community health center that serves migrants and refugees. The role includes a 3-month contract length (ongoing options) with full-time schedule and supportive on-site resources. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive Family Nurse Practitioner care for patients from newborns to geriatrics. See up to 18 patients per day, with potential adjustments based on cancellations and clinic flow. Work in a fast-paced ambulatory setting, including walk-in/acute care and chronic disease management. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and on-site pediatricians when available; work with local health care administrators on timekeeping. Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for charting and patient management. Perform basic procedures: injections, minor wound care, and IUD placements as part of routine care. May care for same-day walk-in patients and participate in family medicine care at the community health center. Schedule & Environment

Shift Details: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 40 hours/week; 8-hour workdays with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. Schedule: Monday–Friday. Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider; additional staff include receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians; on-site pediatrician and local health care administrator for timecards. Patient Population: Newborns through geriatrics; comfortable treating all ages. Department: Community Health Center with emphasis on care for vulnerable populations; interpretative services available on site; bilingual ability is a plus but not required. Qualifications & Requirements

Board Certified (or Board Eligible) as an NP; WA state license; DEA license; Covid and Flu vaccination. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an FNP with face-to-face patient contact within the past year. Onsite orientation with a one-week ramp-up; ability to begin patient care by day 3. Certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.) as required by the employer; provider responsible for obtaining any needed certs. Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus.
