Overview
Product Manager - Fusion CM Clinical Products (Remote)
role at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. The position develops and implements strategy for the company\'s product line, leads product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, gathers and prioritizes requirements, defines the product vision, and owns the Care Management teams\' strategy and vision. Acts as the business liaison for technical fusion teams, prioritizes requirements with Product Owners, IT, and stakeholders, and collaborates with engineering to deliver products that meet member needs. Responsible for the product roadmap, UX/design, operations, engineering, and finance inputs, and for communicating deployment updates. Reports on product performance using data to ensure high reliability.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the product vision for the Care Management portfolio, aligning with department goals. Serve as the business liaison for technical fusion teams and drive the Care Management strategy and roadmaps for mobile and web platforms. Define the product roadmap and milestones; translate strategy into workflows, user stories, and required features. Manage the end-to-end product management lifecycle and ensure stakeholder features and acceptance criteria support delivery and testing of new products. Manage go-to-market strategy and product launches; coordinate with product owners, engineering, sales, and supply chain; develop/deliver product presentations and materials. Facilitate marketing and stakeholder communications; translate technical solutions into clear value propositions. Incorporate market research and customer feedback into the product roadmap; ensure PO backlogs reflect data-driven prioritization. Ensure timely updates on product deployments and report product performance using latent and predictive data to meet high-reliability standards. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology or related field, or in lieu of a Bachelor\'s degree, additional 4 years of relevant work experience. Experience:
10 years of product management and/or product owner experience with emphasis on Care Management, Population Health, or Clinical Workflow systems. Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in Care Management tools and platforms for mobile and web development. Clinical background or experience in a highly regulated healthcare environment (payer, provider). Product Management certification (e.g., Pragmatic Marketing, Certified Scrum Product Owner). Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Knowledge of Care Management clinical workflows, tools, and regulatory requirements. Proficient in project planning and lifecycle development. Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficient in Agile methodologies, and in using product KPIs and business metrics. Ability to analyze and solve problems and to prioritize work with multiple deadlines. Licenses/Certifications (Preferred Upon Hire): Certified Product Manager (CPM) - AIPMM Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM) - AIPMM Compensation
