Frontier Senior Living is seeking a Health Services Director (RN, LVN, or LPN) to manage and oversee the Health Services Department for Courte at Citrus Heights in Citrus Heights, California. The role requires demonstrated success as a leader in similar settings and a caring approach to elderly residents. Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Frontier Senior Living. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Work closely with the Executive Director and Resident Care Coordinator to ensure quality care for all residents. Assess residents and participate in the service planning process; ensure care needs are evaluated and documented. Provide training and oversight of Medication Techs and Caregivers. Implement interim service plans in partnership with the Resident Care Coordinator as care needs change; ensure Med Aides/Licensed Nurses are in-serviced. Oversee third-party providers for coordination of care and required documentation of their visits. Conduct routine audits across departments as directed by the Executive Director. Implement systems and protocols per company standards and applicable regulations (infection control, assessments, resident monitoring). Maintain compliance with state, federal, industry, and company regulations; stay informed on regulation updates. Become familiar with the service plan program and the reports it can generate. Manage supplies: order incontinent supplies and durable medical equipment as needed. Ensure communication and documentation from home health, hospice, and ancillary care providers. Complete MAR audits and monitor the medication room for organization and cleanliness. Assist with incident reporting and ensure investigations are completed. Serve as manager of the day as directed by the Executive Director. Maintain the Health Services department budget and ensure appropriate staffing and supplies. Ensure staff hold necessary training (e.g., CPR, First Aid, dementia training) as applicable; manage hiring, training, performance reviews, counseling, and discharge for health services staff. Complete delegation training, assessments, and documentation per state guidelines. Provide on-call clinical support to the community and staffing coverage as needed. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications

Must hold an active nursing licensure (RN, LVN, or LPN) in good standing. Proficiency in English preferred; CPR certification required. Experience in clinical nursing practice or long-term care administration preferred but not required; new grads welcome. Demonstrated ability to delegate while maintaining accountability.
