The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the administrative and clinical supervision of direct patient care, ensuring effective utilization of the nursing process to provide quality care, establish standards of practice, and provide effective fiscal management. Ensure quality client care in compliance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and the facility’s policies and procedures. Provide leadership in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
