The candidate will also develop a teaching program to enhance urban food production and urban horticultural practices, develop courses in urban agriculture production and horticultural cropping systems, and support teaching needs of the unit with laboratory courses as needed by MREC undergraduate and graduate students. The candidate will engage in scholarly activities related to instruction, including teaching courses, advising students, curriculum development, seeking teaching program funding, supervising student research, publishing teaching-related scholarship, and engaging in professional development. Faculty are encouraged to support CALS Honors Program, distance education, and international education.
