Pediatric Neuropsychologist

to join the Pediatric Psychology team within the

Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics , located at a major academic medical center that serves a diverse and medically complex pediatric population across a broad geographic region. Learn more about our division at: www.musckids.org/developmentalpeds.

Position Highlights

Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents with a wide range of neurological, medical, and developmental conditions. Preference for candidates with experience in the neuropsychological assessment of children with sickle cell disease and cancer/brain tumor histories including those undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and/or bone marrow transplantation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including oncology, neurology, hematology, and other pediatric subspecialties, to support integrated care. Join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team of seven licensed psychologists working alongside developmental-behavioral pediatricians, social workers, nurse practitioners, and other dedicated professionals. Participate in the supervision and training of psychology interns, postdoctoral fellows, and other learners within the division. Contribute to the APA-accredited Charleston Consortium Psychology Internship Program (Program Info).

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or school psychology from an APA-accredited program. Completion of an APA-accredited internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology. Experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations with children with complex medical or neurological conditions. Eligible for licensure as a psychologist in South Carolina.
