Summary Objective

The Applications Manager is responsible for the lifecycle management, governance, and performance of the organization’s core business applications. This role ensures enterprise applications are reliable, secure, integrated, and aligned with business needs. Essential Functions

Own enterprise applications portfolio and enforce governance. Document lifecycle processes and oversee vendors/SLAs. Phase 2 – Team Formation & Application Ownership (Mid-Term)

Recruit and mentor application analysts. Formalize ownership and accountability with business partners. Phase 3 – Portfolio Maturity & Strategic Enablement (Long-Term)

Align applications with integration/data strategy. Drive rationalization, digital enablement, and measurable ROI. Required

Experience managing enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, MES). Strong vendor management and governance experience. Skilled in lifecycle management and integration principles. Ability to engage effectively with business and IT stakeholders. Experience with SaaS/Cloud applications and vendor-driven support. Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM practices. Demonstrated project management experience with enterprise applications. Preferred

Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or operations environments. Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks. Experience working with enterprise data strategies (warehouse, lake, blob). Previous mentoring or team leadership experience.
