Overview
Senior Business Systems Analyst with direct, hands-on Alloy platform experience to drive modernization of the credit union's fraud detection and identity decisioning capabilities. The role involves end-to-end implementation and ongoing optimization of the Alloy platform, including business requirements definition, workflow configuration, testing, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Alloy Platform Expertise: Serve as the Alloy subject matter expert (SME) within the Fraud & Security team. Configure and maintain Alloy workflows, rules, and decisioning logic to support KYC, AML, and fraud prevention use cases. Collaborate with Alloy representatives, risk strategy, and IT teams to design, test, and deploy configurations or enhancements. Monitor platform performance, adjust workflows, and support tuning to improve decision accuracy and reduce false positives. Requirements & Analysis: Lead discovery and requirements sessions with business, risk, and operations partners to define Alloy-related business and technical needs. Document detailed business, functional, and integration requirements aligned with the fraud prevention strategy. Create process maps, data flows, and decision matrices for Alloy workflows and connected systems. Testing & Validation: Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive test plans for Alloy workflows including functional, regression, and UAT. Validate that business rules, integrations, and decisions in Alloy meet compliance, accuracy, and member-experience objectives. Coordinate issue resolution with IT, Alloy support, and business users. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Fraud Strategy, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams to align technical solutions with enterprise goals. Communicate Alloy capabilities, limitations, and roadmap considerations to technical and non-technical audiences. Support internal training, documentation, and team enablement for Alloy-related processes. Documentation & Governance: Maintain thorough documentation of Alloy configurations, API mappings, rulesets, and decisioning logic. Ensure changes are properly logged, approved, and traceable for audit and governance purposes. Qualifications
Direct, hands-on experience configuring and managing Alloy workflows (core requirement). Minimum 2+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, Implementation Analyst, or similar role within financial services, fintech, or fraud/risk management. Strong ability to write clear business and functional requirements, data mappings, and test scripts. Understanding of workflow design, API integrations, and data mapping concepts. Experience leading or supporting testing cycles (UAT, regression, validation) for technology implementations. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks. Preferred Qualifications
Prior participation in a full Alloy implementation at a financial institution or fintech. Familiarity with other decisioning or fraud management platforms (e.g., Socure, FICO, Actimize, Feedzai). Knowledge of KYC, AML, and fraud risk management principles. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow for requirement and test tracking. Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Benefits
