Plan and implement integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, Zapier, AWS, ADF, etc.), and Salesforce-native connectors. Establish data pipelines and automation patterns that scale reliably. Break down business needs into clear, actionable technical designs. Investigate and resolve integration failures, bottlenecks, or data sync challenges. Keep up with Salesforce releases and new integration tools. Build advanced integrations, custom logic, and automations. Write clean, tested code in Apex, LWC, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SSJS. Balance declarative tools with programmatic solutions. Lead development workstreams, managing timelines and deliverables. Advise clients on best-fit integration approaches and tradeoffs. Partner with project managers and architects to align on business outcomes. Mentor team members on API patterns, scalable design, and coding practices. Contribute to scoping conversations and solution roadmaps. Manage CI/CD processes using tools like Gearset, Copado, or Salesforce CLI. Ensure deployments follow secure, consistent, and repeatable practices. Uphold documentation and version control standards. Required Qualifications
10+ years of Salesforce development experience, with strong emphasis on integrations. Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SSJS, AMPscript. Proven experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, POS, PMS, CRMs, data warehouses, and marketing platforms. Practical experience with APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, Zapier, AWS, etc.), and DevOps tools. Salesforce Architect/Developer/Consultant certifications (Application Architect, Data Architect, Integration Architect, Platform App Developer). Hands-on experience with Salesforce API integrations (REST/SOAP, JSON). Exposure to full project lifecycles (QA, UAT, and launch). Excellent communication skills for translating technical integration details into business context. Leadership experience mentoring developers and guiding delivery on integration-heavy projects.
