Overview

Columbia Technology Partners is searching for a Senior Systems Administrator to serve as Storage Administrator supporting the Storage Service team on one of our mission-critical programs. This is a Mon-Fri, Day Shift position. Responsibilities

Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting database backups Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to NetApp and Commvault systems Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, best practices, and standard operating procedures Mentor and train other support engineers in the team, sharing knowledge and best practices Stay current with the latest NetApp technologies, best practices, and certifications Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues Ensure all storage devices are security compliant Contribute to monitoring of team metrics and KPIs, ensuring the health and success of the service Collaborate with other cross-functional teams in both engineering and security Mandatory Skills

Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical and performance issues in storage in storage environments Windows and UNIX knowledge Desired Skills

Demonstrate an understanding of technology as it pertains to infrastructure and applications and be able to provide design recommendations Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) Knowledge of NetApp ONTAP hardware, software, and associated features (e.g., Snapshot, SnapVault, FlexClone, SnapMirror, FlexVol, Fabric Pool, and Object Storage) Knowledge of the NetApp storage grid Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and their integration with storage systems NetApp OnTap Proficiency in NAS protocols, including NFS and SMB Proven track record in designing and managing enterprise storage environments Qualifications

Ten (15) years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required. Bachelor\'s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor\'s degree.
