Responsibilities
Manages the change management process under the direction of the Project Manager Is a key contributor in monthly cost report meetings with meaningful data and talking points Adheres to project controls procedures including monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting Expedites material deliveries effectively Reviews and evaluates shop drawings accurately Encourages innovative approaches to problems and opportunities Identifies client needs and communicates Gilbane’s value and differentiation to prospective clients Reviews customer feedback proactively and fosters a customer-centric mindset within teams Coaches and mentors less experienced team members Supports a positive and inclusive work environment
Experience / Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organization Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong verbal and written skills Ability to work in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Ability to set measurable performance goals and hold others accountable Ability to build active team participation and trust Knowledge of financial concepts and how the company makes a profit Adaptable communication style for various audiences and situations, with clear writing and effective presentations Financial management familiarity OSHA 30-hour certification MEP knowledge Understanding of contract documents & specifications Proficient in Procore CMiC experience preferred
