The Data Center Engineer will provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting as part of a team focused on exemplary service delivery to customers and clients. Responsibilities
Drive and support service delivery for customers throughout the deployment lifecycle (plan, design, implement, optimize, document). Perform sophisticated troubleshooting across Data Center Services, Switching, and Computing. Apply analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve moderate to high complexity product and software problems. Staging and implementation of the technologies listed. Determine root cause and resolution for previously unknown problems to customer satisfaction. Provide project status updates and answer customer questions in a timely and professional manner. Create project deliverables such as requirements documents, cabling details, cutover plans, resiliency test plans, and drawings. Provide informal customer knowledge transfer as required. Qualifications
8-10+ years of experience with Storage and Virtualization technologies. Experience with Storage, Compute, Virtualization, and Hyper-converged environments. Must have Cohesity experience. Experience with Cisco UCS, Nutanix, VMware; background with Fibre Channel switching (MDS, Nexus FCoE, Brocade). Skills in Ethernet switching related to IP storage and hypervisor host connectivity. Experience with Cisco HyperFlex HX; familiarity with Pure Storage, VMware Horizon View, and VMware Site Recovery Manager is a plus. Understanding of Layer 3 routing protocols. Exposure to Veeam, Dell-EMC VxRail/VxRack, VMware vSAN, and VMware vRealize Operations Manager is a plus. Benefits
