A|X Armani Exchange is opening a new men's boutique in Macy's Brooklyn in New York. The estimated start date for this position is August 7, 2025.
As the leader of the store, you will be part of a diverse leadership and sales team, who you will inspire and motivate each day. You will align the entire team on driving sales, providing an excellent client experience, building strong talent and ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively. Your ability to combine entrepreneurial spirit, passion for the brand and knowledge of the luxury/retail business with organizational skills to manage the store will greatly influence the client and associate experience.
You will provide input on merchandising, marketing, and client relationship strategies. Your daily presence on the sales floor will give you the opportunity to understand the business on the front line and use insights to improve the store’s performance. You will help shape and execute store strategies to build trusting relationships with clients and associates, to drive revenue. You will be accountable for ensuring appropriate communications are cascaded throughout the team.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the store and its team, including labour and supply budget.

Responsibilities
Lead the store team to drive sales and deliver an excellent client experience.
Inspire and motivate team members; build talent and ensure efficient store operations.
Contribute input on merchandising, marketing, and client relationship strategies.
Monitor frontline insights to improve store performance and business results.
Shape and execute store strategies to build trust with clients and associates; drive revenue.
Ensure clear and timely communications cascaded throughout the team.
Manage end-to-end store operations, including labour and supply budgets.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar retail management field
College/post-secondary degree preferred
Experience with buying and merchandising is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence partners and motivate direct reports
Demonstrated experience in executing Sales Management trainings and presentations
Proficiency with retail systems and Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Open availability and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends
Language skills (Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin, etc.) are a strong asset
Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required
Compensation & Benefits The appointed candidate will be offered an annual salary within the range of $65,000, plus the opportunity to participate in a bonus or commission plan depending on brand, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, paid time off, employee discount/perks, and retirement plans with employer contributions. Availability of benefits may vary by location and employment type and may have eligibility requirements. Salaries will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
