Responsibilities

Join Arcfield's rapidly expanding team of Cyber professionals and provide critical Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for a prestigious National customer. An offer for this position is contingent upon contract award. Contribute to enhancing the Information Assurance (IA) posture through: IA Management; Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) coordination and reporting; Risk Management Framework (RMF) application; IA compliance measurements and metrics; Assessment and Authorization (A&A); Vulnerability Management; Cyber Defense support. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: Supporting analytical and technical security recommendations to the customer. Supporting the identification of projects\' security requirements. Supporting security recommendations for systems using Cloud services. Supporting network design reviews and security testing for the customer\'s networks. Supporting the coordination with system development teams to ensure network security standards are followed and implemented correctly. Supporting additional security requirements, based on RMF or as a result of security issues that put the customer\'s systems at risk. Supporting the review and analysis of new systems (hardware and software) and providing recommendations concerning their security. Supporting the review of Security Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs), System Security Plans (SSPs) and other IA documentation for completeness. Qualifications

Required: BS; 5–7 years of experience; MS 3–5 years; PhD 0–2 years. Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly. Able to support customer\'s core hours (Mon – Fri). Excellent communications skills – verbal and non–verbal. Demonstrated experience supporting security engineering for cloud capabilities and solutions in AWS, Azure or other mainstream CSPs; networking protocols and concepts; software defined networking principles and technologies; security engineering support to capability migration from on–prem to cloud; knowledge of the NIST RMF; cybersecurity principles; experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems. Desirable: Demonstrated understanding of monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber incidents; integrated Cyberdefense strategies; measuring cyber risk; determining security requirements through business analysis and risk assessments; designing and implementing security systems; incident response analyses and training; ensuring functionality and security of development and operational systems; cloud certifications; Advanced DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification.
