Summary About the Lab The computational omics lab , led by Dr. Teng in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, develops statistical and machine learning methods for the analysis and interpretation of complex omics datasets. The lab is committed to understanding human diseases, particularly cancers, through computational innovations. Current research areas include: Novel algorithms to analyze spatial omics data Machine learning to dissect epigenomic code Benchmarking tools to interpret clonal hematopoiesis Integrative omics to model virus oncogenesis We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join the lab and contribute to these and other exciting projects in omics data science. The Ideal Candidate: Experienced in omics data analysis Background in statistics and/or machine learning Passionate about biomedical data science Proficient programming and scientific writing Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
