Overview

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) is seeking a highly experienced Microsoft CE / D365 Solution Architect to lead the Unified Back Office System (UBOS) initiative. The consultant will architect, design, and deliver Microsoft CE solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards while leveraging D365 CE, Power Platform, AI, and Machine Learning. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage CRM developers while serving as a trusted advisor to PTC leadership. This position involves designing, developing, integrating, and deploying enterprise CRM solutions with a focus on customer engagement, contact center optimization, AI-driven experiences, and enterprise integrations. Key Responsibilities

Study and analyze PTC’s current and target Microsoft CE applications, configurations, and technologies. Architect, customize, and configure Microsoft CE/D365 CE solutions to meet functional and business needs. Build and maintain a delivery roadmap for UBOS CRM, portals, and web applications. Manage and mentor a team of CRM and full-stack developers. Lead integrations with ERP (SAP), payment gateways, middleware, telephony, and other UBOS ecosystem technologies. Deliver AI-driven enhancements such as chatbots, virtual assistants, CoPilot, and Azure AI integrations. Support and lead CRM data migration from legacy/non-COTS systems. Act as a subject matter expert, advising leadership and stakeholders on trends and solution strategies. Ensure compliance with enterprise policies, standards, and human-centered design principles. Document technical and functional designs, test plans, scripts, diagrams, and impact analyses. Participate in project team activities and enterprise system-related initiatives. Provide onsite support during post go-live phases as required. Minimum Experience

10+ years in Microsoft CE application implementations. 10+ years in CRM development using .NET, JavaScript, Python, React, SSIS, Reporting Services. 5+ years as a Microsoft certified FastTrack Solution Architect for Business Applications. 2+ years leveraging Azure AI & Machine Learning for D365 CE applications. Delivered at least 2 FastTrack-certified Business Applications projects. Delivered at least 1 AI-enabled CRM project (chatbots, CoPilot, Azure AI). Hands-on experience with Dynamics Contact Center deployments. Experience training teams on Dynamics CE, AI tools, and contact center features. Proven CRM data migration expertise. Proven integrations with ERP systems, payment systems, and data repositories. Experience with high-volume contact center applications including CRM, portals, IVR, ChatBOT, and mobile apps. Required Skill Set

Certified Microsoft Power Platform / CE FastTrack Solution Architect. 10+ years in Microsoft CE development/architecture. Strong experience with D365 CE and Power Platform solutions. Expertise in applying AI & ML to business applications. Integration expertise in event-driven architectures with SAP ERP, payment gateways, IVR, ChatBOTs, and omnichannel environments. Proven ability to architect and deliver secure, scalable enterprise CRM solutions. Desired Skill Set

Experience in SAP enterprise business solutions. Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM practices. Microsoft MVP recognition (Business Applications, Power Apps, CoPilot Studio). Certifications in Azure AI Fundamentals or similar AI/ML disciplines. Additional Microsoft Dynamics certifications. Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or Information Systems (or equivalent experience). Microsoft Certified Solution Architect (5+ years). Microsoft MVP (preferred). Azure AI/ML certifications (preferred). Seniority level
