System Administrator/Lead Technician - Physical Security Systems

Overview
Leading physical security system integrator that is focused on design, integration, installation, maintenance and operation of technically complex integrated physical security management systems. Hiring full time due to growth. Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain various security systems including but not limited to access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems. Perform system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards. Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of security solutions. Promptly identify and resolve technical issues to maintain system functionality. Conduct diagnostic tests and use troubleshooting tools to analyze system performance and determine solutions. Provide both remote and on-site support to address client concerns efficiently. Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and respond to inquiries. Offer training and guidance when necessary to clients on system operation and maintenance. Foster positive client relationships through effective communication and problem resolution. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities, including service reports, equipment inventory, and configuration changes. Collaborate with the other technical teams to contribute to knowledge bases and share best practices. Qualifications
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a related role; security systems Industry Certifications in Lenel, CCure, Genetec, Bosch, AMAG, Avigilon and other Access Control and Video Management systems. Exceptional customer service skills, both over the phone and in person, with the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PDF. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and attention to detail. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and directions in a dynamic work environment. Ideally B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related subject. Ability to travel and work onsite. Seniority level
