What We Do: Unreal projects have been leading the pack of real-time entertainment with our constantly growing team of programming experts. We're always improving on the tools and technology that empower content developers worldwide. What You'll Do We're looking for a Build Programmer passionate about Cloud and maintaining a world-class, industry-leading CI/CD Pipeline for Fortnite and all its developers. You will help to ensure that all aspects of Fortnite are running effectively and efficiently on our infrastructure, including the smooth release of new versions to its ever-popular community, while improving tools and processes across the Fortnite ecosystem. In this role, you will Collaborate with developers, QA and Production to optimize their respective workflows for the Fortnite Project Collaborate with supporting Programmer teams who provide and support the backing Infrastructure that the Fortnite CI/CD Pipeline relies on Maintain and troubleshoot the build infrastructure powering the Fortnite CI/CD Pipeline - both on-premise and in the cloud Develop creative solution(s) to keep the Fortnite CI/CD Pipeline operating efficiently and effectively Own and support various tools and processes owned by the Fortnite Build Programming Team Support Fortnite releases via an on-call rotation to handle issues with any critical breaks in the pipeline when on call
What we’re looking for
Experience
with build systems and pipeline tools for a game or engine Experience with shipping platforms: Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, etc. Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with C#, batch files, shell scripts, and other scripting languages Experience with Cloud Infrastructure; AWS; Azure, Google, etc. Experience with revision control such as Perforce, Git, PlasticSCM, etc. This role is open to multiple locations in North America (excluding CA, NY, & WA).
